How it actually works

1. Apply

2. AI interview
20–40 minutes with "Zara", Micro1's AI recruiter, plus a skills check in your field.

3. Certification
Pass and you're certified — eligible for matching. This does not guarantee a project.

4. Paid projects
Matched to projects as they open. Paid per hour or per task, in USD, via Deel.

Is Micro1 legit?
Yes — a venture-backed, Palo Alto-based company that contracts experts through Deel and pays in USD. The common complaint is not unpaid work; it's passing the interview and then waiting to be matched to a project.

Does using this link cost me anything?
No. Your pay is set by the role, not by how you arrived. The referral fee comes out of Micro1's side.

Can you get me hired?
No — nobody can. I share the link and the honest process; Micro1's evaluation decides.

What if I'm rejected?
You can still be considered for other roles on the platform, and certification attempts give feedback in some pipelines. No fee, no penalty.
